Daytime Christmas Tree Shots
Using a different camera this time (a Nikon D3200 with the standard 18-55mm lens), I took some daytime shots of our tree. I think these came out much better than the ones in my previous post ("Christmas Tree Bokeh"). Thanks to three factors: the equipment, the lighting and the extra practice. The last two in this set are pictures of a purple hyacinth we just purchased. Click any of the photos to enlarge. Enjoy!

Christmas Tree Bokeh
I tried my hand at some Christmas tree bokeh shots this year. I feel like 9 out of every 10 shots looked terrible, but here are a few that turned out fairly nicely. These are unedited, and were taken with two different Nikon cameras. Click to enlarge. Hope you had a great Christmas!

I took these photos in early October and I'm finally getting around to posting them here. All taken with my Nikon and edited with VSCO Cam. Click to see larger versions. Hope you enjoy.
