Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination

On August 4th, 2013, we visited the Indiana State Museum to see the traveling exhibition, "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination."  This is the 19th stop out of 20 on its ten year international tour.  The exhibition consists of costumes, props, scale models and interactive displays, with special consideration given to the science and technology seen throughout the saga.  For a passionate Star Wars fan, seeing this exhibition is a must - but at $19.50 for an adult ticket, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to a budget-conscious, casual fan.  One bit of added value for young and old fans alike is that local costumers show up (even on Sunday afternoons) to walk around the display areas and take photographs with the patrons.  Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and an Imperial Guard were among the ten or more we saw.  The exhibition will remain at the Indiana State Museum through September 2nd before moving on to its final stop in San Jose, California.  For more information, see this link

A couple of the volunteer costumers - Darth Vader and an Imperial Guard.  Vader was fully tricked out with a voice modulator, and you could hear his characteristic breathing as you walked around the museum.
